Pay my tuition!

Yes, this kid is ignorant and easy to make fun of. And yes, I laughed while watching this video. But on another level, I feel a little sorry for him. He is the product of a generation that believes they are entitled to receive anything and everything they happen to want from the government for free, from a college education to a good job to a good retirement to good health care. If they have a problem, they automatically expect the government to fix it. And of course, this kid has probably been taught by socialist college professors who just encourage this entitlement mentality. He hears politicians all the time talking about how education and health care are basic human rights that should be guaranteed to everyone. No wonder he's clueless. Dress him up in a suit and give him a few slick talking points, and he would be virtually indistinguishable from a lot of Democratic politicians in Washington.

I just read an article in the Wall Street Journal by Democratic pollster Doug Schoen. Schoen did some polling of the Occupy Wall Street protestors and found out some interesting facts about them. Based on his polling data, Schoen makes the case that the OWS crowd are not representative of mainstream America at all and that the Democratic party embraces this movement at their own political peril.
